Construction
4-Layer Twin Sensor waterproof/breathable fabric
Take a moment to appreciate how the Stohlquist Treads Pant keeps you dry and warm while you wade in the river to help your friends learn how to roll their kayaks. Its Twin Sensor shell sets a waterproof barrier between you and the cold water with four layers of nylon fabrics, DWR treatments, and two separate membranes. While the exterior microporous membrane prevents water from passing through, the interior hydrophilic laminate absorbs and transports your body’s moisture away from you to increase the pant’s breathability so you remain comfortable when you hike out to faraway rivers.
Stohlquist gave its Treads pant a roomy fit so you can walk, hike, and paddle without any restrictions. Padded knees and shins protect your legs from your boat and the blocky rocks underneath the river. Stohlquist reinforced the knees and seat with Cordura so you can ride with this pair of pants for many years. And the zippered rubber mesh thigh pocket protects your valuables and anything you’d need at a moment’s notice on the river.
