A very nice lightweight stove with a small footprint. It is great for ultralight backpacking. It boils water very quickly and is very quiet. I can fit mine in a 1liter pot to save space. It works well in the winter. If you remember that there is a delayed reaction when adjusting the flame, you will be able to simmer foods to just full out boil water quickly. If you pick up the maintenance and repair kit you should be able to fix just about anything that could go wrong while out camping - this stove is fully field maintainable. I have found that adding the trillium base makes this stove very stable and, more importantly, it will not sink into frozen ground when cooking. I use this stove for day trips and for lightweight backpacking. It will also fit nicely into the ends of your kayak hatches.
